Lucian's E

I've been playing lucian for 4 years now and i think riot should actually consider the old lucian E and how they could bring it back in a healthy way. Legit the E is just a spammable ability now where it used to be a desengage to cc that could happen. With the new skin it seems like lucian just blinks and im here thinking why dont they actually change the E to the old one. Lucian is at somewhere meh state where or he wins lane or he loses game. The old E could really help lucian be a top adc again. (yes, if changing the numbers is required do it)

Current E is already too mobile as it is, giving him the slow cleansing is over the line.

You also want the old "kill someone to refresh cooldown" E back? It will just make Lucian a bit clunky to play as a dueling ADC since it would force him to dash once in a single fight.

How is he too mobile? it actually would make him a better champion when he loses lane. Even though i do think number changes maybe would be required to help this comeback.

His E cooldown refreshes by 2x if he double-shots a champion. It may not make much use in the early game, but around the mid-late game, you will be noticing him dashing fro & to in the teamfight. Lucian is also an Essence Reaver viable builder, and you can imagine how many times he can slip around...

You mean the one that cleanses slows?

I'd be down for it tbh. Lucian is pretty useless unless wins lane he needs more utility or advantages that help him be a valuable asset.

That literally describes all ADCs. It's a pretty defining feature of the class.

I personally feel Lucian should be left alone. Making him a "Top ADC" sounds frustrating to me because when he is at the top, he literally crowds everyone else out. He is a problematic champion that needs more extensive work done to make him less problematic when he is strong.

Not all adcs are useless when behind.

Lucian is only a top adc when Riot nerfs everyone who is meant to counter him but i agree it definitely sucks when he is the best. But i dont think giving back some power to his E which along with his passive is the focus of his kit would put him over the top.

I must have misunderstood the lethality meta that was started by lucian. Or the bork meta that was started by lucian. Or the new ER meta that was started by lucian.

Or all the times Lucian was pick and ban in pro play.

I kind of have to look at the evidence and say no, he isn't just the top ADC when all other ADCs are nerfed.

And the only ADCs who can lose lane and it not matter are champs like Ashe and Sivir, both of which have insane utility and teamfight, and MF who can just set up somewhere good in a teamfight and ult.

And while the E and Passive are the iconic parts of his kit, they are often the problematic parts too. As a champion lucian gets so much access to CDR with his available builds that procing his passive is ridiculously easy. And by that same reasoning, his e is always up, making him stupid mobile
