Massive FPS drops when highlighting minions, champs, turrets, etc. with cursor.
_EDIT: I figured out my problem. It was because I downloaded an app called "AMD Catalyst Center" w/ Raptr tracking for my AMD drivers to update them and to track the play time of my sessions. As it turns out, while it tracks the time you play, there's a coding error that makes me lag every time I highlight something. When I had a hunch that it might be that, I uninstalled that program, and that happened to be the solution to my problem. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs] So if you have a problem like mine, try to see about other recently installed programs because that might interfere with your League experience. _
Now to the original post:
This has been a huge problem for me, as well as a couple of other people after Patch 4.20.
Before the most recent patch, when the game starts in any map, my FPS is always high-very high (60-118) and when the game gets going, the lowest to goes to is in the mid 40s. Now, every time I get into a game, it's always in the sub-50s, and when I highlight anything with my cursor, being champions, turrets, minions, or anything else targetable/interactable, I experience MASSIVE FPS drops, going into 15-22 FPS, whereas clicking on that object brings it even lower, to 10-15 FPS. I already have trouble running League as it is, since it's the only game on my laptop that I need to put on the lowest graphics to run kind-of smoothly (If I were to put it on graphics that my computer is supposed to handle, it drops significantly in team fights), so with this problem that I'm experiencing, it makes this game completely unplayable as I cannot accurately aim my attacks anymore.
Can you guys please fix this issue? If you would like to know my specs, my DxDiag.txt has been attached.
Thank you, -Awesomesauce
