ARAM Snowballs

Snowballs have ruined ARAM. I've literally never complained about a feature in any game ever. Snowballs ruined ARAM. I only ever play ARAM. now i don;t know what to do.

I agree the snowballs are a terrible mechanic right now. They're completely unbalanced and ruin the experience as they are. CD is too low, the damage is unneccessary, the range is too long, and quit frankly some champs dont need a dash like this (galio/alistar).

Up. First time I logged in to these forums. ARAM was among my favorite and most played games. Those dumb snowballs completely ruin it.

It's as if RITO just added a new stealth to the game. Any game with an Eve/Twitch/Shaco/Teemo can never be fun, regardless of their team.

i think they would be fine, if the CD was increased to 45, and the damage put to the dash. It would stop all but champs who need to be in the middle from taking it, and make it not broken.

Hah, make the cooldown at least as long as flash, and even then it's still a stupid mechanic.

No. It needs to be used as a tool for initiation. Unlike flash which tends to be used for running away, it lets melee people get to champs that are hard to get to, like Sona, Nidalee and Ziggs. It needs to exist to put pressure on them and so the tanks have a shot of going in. Otherwise it becomes a poke fest.

Even with the current changes, Dash is still a risk. I've almost gotten the timing down for skillshots on my end. And you can duck behind a tower. Or hell, if you're marked hide by a shaco trap if there is one. Or a Teemo Shroom. Or in the middle of a bunch of Heimer turrets.

Possible solution for me at least:

Give it a minute cd and get rid of the "using the dash to lower cd part. Would keep it useful, but not as broken.

Atm now though.....Melees and tanks just stomp everything with it.

It needs to exist but they fucked up on the cooldown of it, why on earth did they think 20 seconds was an acceptable time for it. I use it to poke on a cd that low. I say the increase the cd to like 2 minutes and then reduce it by half (1 minute) if the second half is used while also ditching the damage entirely. This way only people who need an extra gap close will take it and it will still be up so that tanks can chain their ults with it, but they get punished if they miss

So you want the game to be mostly a rock paper scissors match based on which team doesn't have poke/hard engage? Because at that point riot may as well institute a five minute surrender vote for it

you cant just add snow ball, its a random team comp, and you can still get champs that are op in aram, and who still benefit from snowball. as you can get a team that is weak in aram, and gets further weakened with snow ball. Assign the random champs based on a META , team gets a mage, fighter, support marksman, and a tank then let hem settle who gets what by swapping or re-rolling. But they start off fair.
