It's really nice and a perfect replacement for draft mode. It's great.

The removal of Team Builder is what I think most people are fired up about, and for good reason imo.

New champ select = best champ select

No you're right, it's great. But some people will always find a reason to whine.

The draft mode is fine

The Dynamic Matchmaking is literally Hitler in my book

I might have liked it if I actually got into a game, but I queued for nearly an hour before the system was disabled due to technical issues (likely causing the aforementioned excessive wait time).

" being that 1 guy sucks because you have proportionally less control over the game,"

This is absurd. You don't have less control over the game.

  1. being with a premade doesn't suddenly increase or decrease your skill level. You have the same ability to push lanes, win team fights, etc as any other player would
  2. Communication: There are popular voice services available now like Discord that allow you to easily add anyone temporarily (e.g. for a single game), and you can still text chat and use pings, the same techniques anyone uses to communicate.
  3. You can only match with people within one tier if you (same as always) where ranked teams don't have that restriction.

"And no, the difficulty is not the same because solo queue and premade are completely different, that's why there are Diamond players who can't get gold Ranked 5's and vice versa." premades of 5 will always be matched against premades of 5, premades of 4 will always be a group of 4 and a soloer vs a group of 4 and a soloer. Both teams have a solo member thus it is fair and your odds aren't lower. The reason you might have a hard time in Ranked Teams 5v5 queue specifically is because it is more populated by higher skilled players and thus it is more likely that your team of 5 will be matched against a strong team regardless of tier. But since these "premades" in the regular queue don't necessarily have anything binding them together, plus there's all the solo queuers and smaller groups, and you're always been matched against teams of similar composition, the pro effect isn't likely to be a factor. As a solo player you will never see a 5 man premade, so those will have no effect on your queue experience.

I don't like it at all.

I very much enjoyed the games I played in it, however after my first two I have not been able to play another. The client will crash forcing me to relog after which the same issue persists, that is my issue with champ select, not that I think it is bad in anyway.

You see negative because of reporting bias. People are way more likely to speak out when they dislike something than when they like it

Compared to the old draft mode, it's fine, other than being even slower.

The problem is team builder got removed.
