Team Builder new champion MMR Correction needs to go...

This system is not working as intended imho. Just played a game where I had 2 silvers(I am plat 5). The other team have THREE diamond tier players(mixture of 2,3,5). Obviously the reason it worked out that way was because a diamond player was "trying out wukong" and ended up facing one of the silvers top lane of course. The main reason the system is not working is because a TRUE diamond player will always be inherently better in every way than a TRUE silver player. This is one of many examples of this where the team ranking average was a full tier or higher than my team or vice versa.

Hopefully people can back me up on this? One question to ask is... If we remove this system, will we on average see better results? I think so.

Personally I don't like it. I do understand though why they want it but the system does need to do it more intelligently.

Maybe instead of taking normal mmr and adjusting it down it should take the higher between between normal and ranked mmr and adjust that down. Instead of just adjusting down normal mmr that for most people gold and up is less than there ranked mmr.

System is working as intended. Ranks don't matter in Teambuilder as its purely based on the amount of times you've played a champ factored in. So yes you'll be matched against a variety of ranks but it uses its own system purely on the mastery of your champion. If you haven't figured this out by now, you should stick to normals and continue your complaining there... Regardless if a person is bronze or diamond (Which shouldn't matter anyway) you have to take into account that their mastery of their character is on par with yours so you basing their skill BASED soley on their border shows that you're an idiot.
