So I'm doing my placements, and I've finally finished after 3 days. I've only won one game out of 10, but i get placed in Bronze 2. My friend wins 4 of them, and gets placed in Bronze 4. If any one could please tell me how the placements system works (Maybe Performance) that would be great. Thanks. Bye-Bye!
Deep Terror Nami2 votesIf you have already done Ranked before, then you already have MMR. Your MMR will determine your placement. If your friend was Ranked last season, then that is why his placement was so low; his MMR was horrible.
You no longer get free promotions or unlucky demotions just for doing good/bad in your placement matches for a new season.
DWT123452 votesit relies on the MMR of your previous season of ranked. I think the biggest difference that your placements can make is one or two divisions.
