Understanding the "S" rank.

Hey,

This may seem like kind of a dumb question, but does the ranking system take into account the length of the game? I just played a game that I thought for sure was good for an S or S+, but it was kinda short (26 mins) due to the other team ff'ing. I was playing GP and I find I only ever get an S with him if the game goes on super long (like 45-50 minutes) and I have like 15+ kills, even if my kda isn't the best. I know a lot of things go into determining the "s", but does the game factor in that your numbers (Cs, KDA, warding etc) in a 20 minute game will invariably be lower than a 50 minute game? Thanks

The rank you get is not exactly completely because of how YOU play. its how everybody else who is playing the same role with the same character plays. For example, it would be very hard to get an S with a lee sin jungle, but easier to get one with a lee sin mid, because that isn't played as often. It is decided on how YOU do compared to how OTHERS do. CS, KDA, Warding, Damage to champions, objectives, etc;

Everything:

CS KDA Objectives (towers inhibs) Comparison to other players in that lane/champ (It's difficult to get an S as a fed Trundle top, but you'll be raking it in if you carry as Trundle support) Dmg taken vs. Dmg to champs Wards placed (?)
