The real problem

Christ, these "discussion boards" are cancer. I've been perusing this place for a good while now, and today I finally had a revelation of sorts. The problem with this game is not the company, it's the community. You guys, by vast majority, are by definition toxic. Incessant complaining about one thing, which quickly gets fixed, only to complain about a completely new thing again. I've started playing some Overwatch recently, and it's funny how quickly everyone in that game points out the noob coming over from League of Legends. It's not their gameplay, its how often they complain during the game over comms. You are like entitled children, who have been coddled by Riot for almost a decade. You scream loud enough and they do what you want, and you know it and that's why you complain. It's a learned behavior. Well, that behavior has gotten you to this point, and you all still seem very upset with everything.

This even steps outside of gameplay. Go to what you would think is going to be less of a negative area of the boards, like the story and art where people aren't tilted by losing something. Nope, 20 threads about how much of a disgrace Riot is for RUINING Varus with his new story and splash art. Missfortune gets really cool, sexy new splashes, but oh wait these are worthless because they haven't changed the in game models at all wtf Riot. OMG that Annie cinematic was so amazing, and touching...but theres 1 thread about it and 100 about how the new amazing Swain looks too much like fucking Lucius Malfoy. Or most recently the Lunar skins are amazing and they made 4 amazing chromas for them, but all you see people posting about is how they can only get the red one if they pay for all of them and how Riot is a bunch of greedy scum for doing this.

You guys, by and large, don't deserve the great game of League of Legends. One day, you won't have it, and you should know you're the reason why.

Riot, if any of you who work on the game see this. I want to thank you for providing me personally with the joy of an experience this great game has been for the years I have played. I hope there are enough people out there who can just appreciate what you do without complaining all the time like me, that this game lasts quite a while longer :)[garen-swing]
