You should include context in your post, otherwise Darius mains will easily sway the argument in their favor.
Darius had a 51.03% win rate, a 9.9% pick rate, and an impressive 33.4% ban rate in Platinum+ according to u.gg stats. I get that this thread is months old, but the game has taken a sharp decline in the past year.
The people that say he's in a bad spot or that he has hard counters are not telling the truth, but that also doesn't mean he's OP. So much of this thread is about how easy Darius is to counter, and if that were true, his stats wouldn't be what they are. He's certainly a top pick, if you know how to play him.
You also have to look at the context of the lane he is. There's a lot more oppressive picks top lane, but in my opinion that actually speaks to how broken top lane is at the moment and how Riot seriously needs to think about spending a significant amount of time balancing the champions up top because they're not just a problem in top lane. They're a menace around the rest of the map and are influencing picks in other lanes to try to deal with the overloaded kits so prevalent in top lane.
