Competition and players - feedback
heres my feddback: 1:50 it shouldnt take months to balance out gold omg its literally just changing a few lines of code, the games been around long enough for you to backtrack on old data, just pick a meta and move on already, by the time youve balance oit gold you would have already created new items, characters and balance to the game as a whole that taking months to balance out something as minute as gold will become alienating.
the problem is for the amount of items you have available for every character youve still locked out a heavy portion of players by throwing away so many different items, and forcing me into only choosing ap or ad on the new runes, i have no choice in what i do anymore, people were able to point fingers at themselves and know that the overall experience they made was determined by them, now it is CRUCIAL for you as an entire company to ensure that zed cant beat his head on the keyboard with just regular damage with no items or that an adc still stays relevant when theres only 6 crit items and i specifically have to choose 3 or more, or that theres an actual downside to brand pressing his spells like losing mana.
the only thing that made league fun was to have power over my choices and my character, so to be locked into one certain playstyle or a specific set of runes just chokes out any creativity making every play stagnant. And if my wording doesnt help then ill try to put it another way, to play EFFICIENTLY i have to specifically play with certain runes, the old runes facilitated the idea i could flesh out weak parts of my character or highlight other parts, extra gold or full scaling hp, it was my choice and mine alone and i had fun doing it.
zephyr, zekes herald, will of the ancients, sword of the occult, the spirit items, mutilating any choice over my shoes with the enchantments, sword of the divine and alot of other stuff.
your almost at critical mass because you have a preconcieved notion that the people complaining are only a small portion of your market base, and that fact you wont even take it into consideration or communicate with your community stifles any way of you going into damage control mode and fixing this, these videos are a bandaid on a longstanding problem you dont want to address so after being dm'ed for the first time after numerous feedbacks came as a shock and a warm welcome, your taking steos in the right direction and it makes me glad to know theres someone else on the other side of the screen
2;20 i like it, good idea, one idea could be to have veterans that can help new players, like in ff14 they have a sapling icon near there name to show the new players, this could be highlighted even further by having an education coaching system, hit certain milestones and get rewards
4'10 i like it keep going with that idea but dont make it the primary, other options are nice considering right now we have solo/duo (the mmr based on role will help trememendously) and flex (which isnt taken seriously hence the nature of mixing other players)
