I am not sure if this has been answered be for, but why is there a delay on trist's rocket jump? was it determined that it would be too strong without it?

I think this one thing would change so much about her game play. I understand that it may require that damage on her W be scaled or perhaps the range looked at but has it ever been considered for test on the PBE?

It's just the regular 0.25 second cast time that most abilities have. Similar to Ezreal's E.

Could be but when I play as say Lucian and Vayne they don't have a delay on their respective dashes. Of course Trist's jump/dash is long range does damage and slows, so I understand if its to offset all that. I was just curious how it would (feel) without the delay.
