Bugsplat over powered?

So I was just playing in a ranked game (silver 3) and I was very fed as . My team was depending on me to win the game up to the very last team fight... Where I got bugsplatted. I immediately denied the bugsplat tab because there was clearly nothing wrong with my game. Everything was running smoothly up until the last second of the game where apparently i ran straight into the enemy team without casting a single spell, quickly resulting in a loss for my team. I feel terrible for my teammates because they trusted me to carry them, and I end up losing the game in an unconventional way.

Please share your thoughts and opinions on the Bugsplat system. Does it happen to you guys? How often? Is there a way to fix it?
