Having two customizable pages is definitely not enough, and having to buy more pages just encourages grinding. In ranked, getting your secondary lane might mean you don't have the right runes for your champ.

The only ones we can't edit are the 5 preset ones (which they are soon going to let us hide) which are there for emergency in case we don't finish our page. They get picked instead of loading in without any runes at all.

There's a bug that defaults us to a preset though so they look uneditable. Need to switch to one of your pages first in the drop-down. Hope that helps^^

I don't mean being able to edit pages in the client, I mean being able to customize your customizable pages after champ select.

We used to only be able to edit runes before the queue popped, but now we can edit them before the game starts and also after/while we pick our champion.
Riot promised to make runes editable like masteries were, not allow us to switch them in-game. Am I still misunderstanding?

During champ select. I'm not talking about choosing pages, I'm talking about customizing them. I don't know how to customize them during champ select.

In champ select, click on the dropdown menu for runes and pick one of your pages (prob the ones without the cheezy "The Collosus" names).
They may be simply named "page 1" and "page 2" or you might need to click "create new page."
Then click on the pencil/writing thing beside it that says "edit." That should expand the page so you can see all the runes.
Click on a rune to swap it. If you want to change the keystone, click the keystone. If you want to change the Path (like sorcery to domination or to resolve ect. Then click the button above the keystone to do that.
