Someone want to explain to me why a full tank Yorick with zero damage items or runes can instantly burst a bruiser at lvl6 because I'd really like to know. The meta and matchmaking for Season 7 is enough to make people want to /wrist.

I was Renekton so I also had heal, his ult didnt even kill me i killed that under tower. was all his little minions and his "q" i think.

Irelia can too, she out sustains him with her ult an out damages him with her ability to proc Sheen more than he can. She can instantly wipe out his Mist Walkers with Q which will be reset each time and deals true damage to counter his tank.

It's a miserable experience for the enemy opponent, and after laning phase, you're almost useless. It's like if what people said about the old Yorick was actually true. That's how the current one is, and it makes me super depressed every time I see him, along with anyone else who used to main Old Yorick. Yes, they exist, I've seen them before.

Right only been playing for 6 seasons but yeah I shouldn't be surprised that Ritos fanboys stick up for a champ that does more damage as an assassin at lvl 6 with zero damage items.

Those 6 seasons are completely nothing when the current Yorick isn't one of those champions who spams his WE ghouls everywhere he sees. The current one takes some skills to be successful, and according to your ranting, I guess he did a pretty good job in rekting you.

i had to x2 long swords and a corrupting potion. He had corrupting potion and x1 cloth armor. And blew me the fk up.

yeah that sure sounds like a bruiser build and a full tank build to me. Sorry but what? you had NO defensive items while he had something to lower your damage and you more than likely fought while he had his 4 minions + Ult on you. You do know they deal damage right? that they are not there just for show right?

Funny how many assumptions you kids make. He had already blew ult which i lead to tower and killed. I then used Q a couple times to get most health back and went all in on him cuz he had no ult and i did. He steal blew me the fk up.

funny how you say that "bruiser build" is two long swords and "full tank" is a cloth armor. Sorry but you got outplayed and i bet that he still had his 4 minions with him and i bet that you weren't full HP. Renek's Q doesn't heal him by that much unless he uses his rage on it which means that you had next to no rage bar to empower your abilities but it's ok, i will keep making all the assumptions i want since you have no idea what builds are

The moment you said "zero damage items or runes" and "instantly burst" your post was completely invalid. Yes Yorick does deal a lot of damage, over time, unless he has TriForce he isn't going to be "bursting" anyone specially not a bruiser.

How fed was the Yorick? If you were level 6 and he was level 8 then it would be absolutely idiotic to fight him. Did he ult? Did he have Mist Walkers? Did he engage first?

Yorick is a strong champion in a 1v1, and 2v1 if he is fed, but he is not strong enough to "burst" a bruiser with no Damage Items or Runes. He will eventually kill them over time if they stay in the fight long enough, but that is if they stay in his ult's range. Now if Yorick is the one who engaged this can also factor into how he won that fight, he could have launched Mist Walkers at them before they could react. His Mist Walkers will do a lot of damage if you let them, you should focus on killing them as quickly as you can before he can come in and fight you. His ult is also fairly easy to cheese, just run away and it will follow you under turret, it will die then you can engage on the Yorick. You need to watch out for his W, if you waste your Gap Closer before he uses his W, you are going to take a ton of damage. Either Flash immediately or try to break the wall as fast as you can, if you don't you will easily lose half your life before its timer runs out.

If you are someone like Riven or Irelia, it is possible to just immediately jump on Yorick and burst him down before he can get far enough away to have maiden kill you. However it depends on how you use your Gap Closer, because if catches you in his W you are probably going to lose the trade.

Yorick's damage is only big if you let him swarm you, its not burst damage, but it is a significant amount of sustain damage. He is a juggernaut bruiser, it is his goal to stay in prolonged fights because he can deal a lot of damage that way. This also means he has no mobility and without his W he can't really chase all that well since his E's slow is pretty low. It also means he has trouble escaping after using his W so if you have multiple forms of mobility it is possible to bait his W or force him to use it and then go all in.
