I think it is very unfair how I work so hard to get up in my league be a game off of promos then have someone DC and lose 20+ LP....... I shouldnt lose any LP if im playing a 4v5. This needs to be fixed because it makes me not want to play this game. Why should i be penalized because someone else left, had connection problems, or ect. Please someone address this problem soon!
Miku Lv991 votesYou should still lose some although probably not as much. 4v5 is not unwinnable. I've won a few ranked 4v5s before.
Brorelia1 votesin reality there is a greater chance the enemy team will have a DC aka 55.555% vs 44.444%.
While it sucks if there was any kind of "loss prevented" or the kind where someone going AFK meant that there was less LP lost or no LP lost it would be abused in some way or another.
On the other hand if there was some system making it more about lasting long enough to earn or reduce the punishment that might work given that it would make it less about taking the nexus for the team down a person and more about surviving.
