Ryze to get 2nd rework before Veiger gets 1

We're in the early stages of working on some gameplay changes that will both:

    Increase his counterplay
    Increase his skillcap and allow him to win or fail more based on skill
    Emphasize the cool things that make Ryze unique (rapid fire spells, mana babyyyyy)That said, we still want him to feel like Ryze and we want these changes to directly appeal to current Ryze players. 

No dates yet for when we can release this, but we are committed to improving Ryze.

Meanwhile no commitment to Veigar who fits everything they just said and continues to be a 0 gameplay unfun champion with no rework.

Veigar is in a good position. He is actually extremely powerful, it's just you need a coordinated team to effectively play him.

So is Ryze, power has nothing to do with it reworks are for bad champion design like Veigar since day 1 with 0 gameplay

Ryze does fuck tons of damage when built tanky and with mana. That is inherently toxic. Veig is crap if he's caught out for one second and either already blew his stun or misses it. Ryze can just W and walk away, and even then he can ult and tank damage to run away. Ryze's strength is late-game, as is Veig's, yet Vieg is pretty much as squishy as he was the entire game to compensate for how strong of a glass cannon he is. Stop whining. If Vieg gets picked repeatedly in the LCS, then he might get nerfed. Until then, good luck with your QQ thread.

He doesn't need nerfs, he needs a rework If he gets ever becomes a popular pick you're right he will get nerfed because that's what they do to no gameplay toxic champions they nerf them as soon as they start getting picked because there's unfun

The point is that he's never going to get regularly picked in the LCS. Other mages do what he does slightly worse but with twice as much utility. There's a reason you don't see him picked regularly in Ranked, and that's because people know how to play against him, which you don't seem to know how to do.

I said good position and is powerful, not he doesn't need a rework because he is powerful. Veigar has extremely powerful potential, but you need to learn him first and have a coordinated team. Veigar is actually better than Ryze in every way possible in terms of single target burst AND has a form of crowd control that is better than most ultimates, it is just hard to hit. But once you master Veigar, you learn how to place the 2.5 second AoE stun right on an enemy without them having a chance of getting out and then deal upwards of 1500 damage with your 3 other abilities. Veigar is more broken than Ryze in many ways except that Veigar can't also be tanky. The reason Ryze needs a rework more than Veigar is Veigar doesnt need one AND Ryze's abilities are all easy to hit and highly impactful at all stages of the game while he can also be tanky.

There's no reason to keep talking to OP, he obviously got raped by a Veig and thinks that he should be nerfed into the ground to compensate for just how hard he got pub stomped. Who the hell plays Veig in non-Normals?

Just get Merc Treads, then he'll only be able to Q + ult before the stun wears off. His W won't hit if you move at all afterwards.

It provides the opportunity to cripple his damage output and give counterplay. Keep whining and stay bad if you want to.

What if he places the stun right on you? Mercury Treads only reduce it by 35%, down to 1.625 at max rank, down to 1.375. He really doesn't even need to use his W unless you are speaking of early game which was never Veigar's strong point.
