Hey Riot, can you do something about all of the AFK's and rage quitters?

I'm fairly new and I noticed after placing in low silver...there's a lot of afk's and rage quitters. Can you implement something more effective than the automated report system to combat this?

I was thinking have all the repeat offenders queue with each other and let the rest of us have a decent chance to climb with like-minded people.

I realize that over time, we will be placed where we belong (at least that's the mantra) and I believe it, I just don't think grinding hundreds of games just to get where we belong is a good player experience.

It debilitates your skill level (you're not actually playing people of the same skill level or better) and it's just demoralizing.

I'm probably one of hundreds on the board 'whining' but seriously..can you do something?

Just do what Dota does. Restrict them to a casual mode.

If League developers started to take a look at other games they would surprised at how outdated certain things in League are.

If only the game would track how many times someone have left a game. Say 50 +, and perma ban their IP. If you want to play again, buy a new apartment XD

Oh for fuck's sake. You guys want to go 0-7 in 6 minutes, refuse to surrender and then complain about afks and rage quitters. Please dude. Know when to pack it in and move on. You "never surrender even if the game is 6-42" people are half the cause of this afk/rage quit shit. You think people find it fun being forced to play with a 2-22 bot lane? You think it's fun playing vs a 10-2 at 15 minutes Rengar? Fuckin surrender, so we don't have to bother rage quitting. Or better yet, stop feeding so much in the first place.

I don't have that much of a problem with feeding team mates. Shit happens, it's just the nature of the game. But come the fuck on, use the surrender option when it's appropriate. This dumbass "never surrender" mentality if why I myself am also prone to rage quitting. It's extremely infuriating when we are forced to play out a hopeless game where you can't even farm safely because there's some super fed Katarina that instagibs you under your tower and calmly walks away with near full HP.
