Confusing question about attack move and attack move click

HI, I am new to the game. I have been playing adc for a while, but I think I lack the skill to dodge enemy champions' abilities and I don't do well in group fights. I have been watching videos introducing attack move. Using the default settings, attack move is botton A and left click, attacking the nearest enemy I encounter. But I found out that shift and right click is also like attack move. I wonder if there is any difference between these two controls? Also, about attack move, I learned from the video that by using it, I attack the nearest enemy from where I click, which is very confusing because it doesn't seem to work for me. For scenarios, if I am Adc, say Ashe, facing a tanky melee champion with relatively high attack damage, say Garen. how do I fight using attack move? If I press A and click on Garen, do I need to right click him or attack move click him again if he moves out of my range and enters my range again, or will I auto attack him whenever he enters my range?

The attack move command causes your character to walk to a certain location and stop and attack anything that comes into range.

Attack move button makes your next left click assign the location and start you moving there.

Attack move click button immediately places the target location wherever your mouse is and starts you moving there.

To kite, you right click behind yourself to run away from someone chasing you, and occasionally you attack move click instead of right clicking which causes you to stop and auto them. Because you are still clicking attack move behind you its much easier and more reliable to alternate right click and attack move click since you dont have to click on the enemy champion and risk missing, which would cause you to walk to the enemy champion and probably die.

To chase you right click on the ground beside the enemy champion in order to walk in the same direction, and occasionally instead of right clicking you attack move click the ground to stop and auto attack the enemy champion, then you go back to right clicking the ground to continue chasing.

Also, you can attack move when chasing an enemy into a bush since it will cause you to instantly and accurately attack them as soon as you have vision which makes it easier to not get bush juked.

Attack move attacks the closest enemy unit and does not prioritize champions. You will not stop and attack scuttle crab if you attack move near it.
