A secret champion that counters assassin mid??? (i.e., Yasuo)

I might be overly excited about this, but to be honest, I think I've found a champion that kinda counters this whole Assassin meta.

Also, I think this champ also helps against currently strong mid-laners right now (i.e., Azir). Are you ready for it?

It's....... .....Karma?

Now, wait, wait, before you start yelling at me, please, just hear me out. Picking her up only recently, I tried her out last week when she was on free rotation. And to be honest, I don't understand why she isn't played as often. I love her. Here are a few reasons.

1. She meshes well with almost any team composition, and provides a good safe pick.
2. She can go any lane (including jungle!) except for ADC.
3. She is a great lane bully and provides a lot of burst, as well as sustain damage, like . 4. If you think about it, she's a black champion that doesn't have a skin that makes her white.

Let me give you a quick run down of her abilities. Passive: Each basic attack or ability Karma damages an enemy with decreases the cooldown of her ultimate. Q: A skillshot that provides damage. W: A point-and-click that initially does some damage. After a few seconds, it deals more damage, and binds. E: A shield w/ a movement speed boost that can be cast on any ally (including minions. I'll explain this later.). R: Gives her a power boost on one of her abilities. This goes on cooldown if not used for 10 seconds.

R+Q: A skillshot that has more damage and leaves behind a circle that slows and later deals more damage. R+W: It grows stronger and gives Karma some health while damaging the target. R+E: Grants everyone in the radius a shield as well as her targets.

Let me go into detail about all of this. I want to present my evidence clearly.

She meshes well with almost any team composition, and provides a good safe pick. This is especially evident in things such as blind pick. Since the majority of people will be choosing their favorites and not trying to pick a champ based on the current team comp, Karma can slide right on to mid and can synergize well with most champions, due to her incredible kiting.

She can go any lane except ADC Top lane karma is similar to Lux or Annie going top. You're most likely going to harass the enemy since most top laners are melee. This is especially great if both your jungle and support are tank, and your mid-laner is a bit bulky. Speaking of which, Karma also can survive most team fights, since she is less squishy than most mid-laners because of her shield.

She is a great lane bully, and provides a lot of burst (and sustain?) Karma's Q has a long enough range to abuse melee champs like Zed, Yasuo, Katarina. Surprisingly, she can outrange and poke some ranged champions, like Annie, Lux, or even Azir. The burst, comes from her Ultimate+Q. It provides a good chunk of damage. I normally half health most squishes, and 1/4 health most fighters. And all of her abilities have short cooldowns. (This --> is her best friend.) The sustain damage comes from her regular Q and her good sustain for both her and her team from her shield.

Okay, so now about these cheeses.

These are the champions that Karma has an advantage of or even counters! (Yes, even LeBlanc!) Being melee or having short AA's like LB, you can easily abuse these champs. But you could be saying, why yes, but doesn't every ranged mid do that? Well, yes, but Karma gives you more. Most ranged mids are squishy af. If they have a shield, it's relatively weak. If they get gank, they're relatively dead. Karma counters that. Karma has a decent shield to protect against those Zed Q's or LB Q's or Katarina Q's. If she's being ganked, you can bind the jungler, and even heal yourself with your bind.

In my opinion, I think Karma could be the solution to this assassin mid type of thing. Or at least, for me, it's worked. Every assassin I've gone against I can easily go through laning phase.

Now Karma isn't perfect, obvioulsy. She doesn't have as much damage as much mid lanes, and the whole Jack-of-all-trades thing for her doesn't help her specialize in anything specific. But I have been happy playing Karma against Yasuo, or Zed, or LB.
