Why is the pick rate for a newly reworked champion so low? Was she nerfed that badly?

She got nerfed very hard. Her winrate dropped because she need a late game to win I stopped playing her
Not only is she worse than before, she's also hilariously boring to play.
Old Cass felt rewarding for landing your combos New Cass feels underwhelming and the reward for landing a combo is getting out traded and losing 2/3 of your mana... BUT HEY YOU GOT 5 STACKS! Basically, all her actions feel bad to perform because the reward comes way, way later than when you perform said actions It's like every single thing you do equals to CSing. Harass the enemy? More gold value for you. Their HP stays almost the same...
her early game is a problem.
She desperately needs another rework or at least all of those changes reverted.
Stashu literally admitted that they rushed the thing just because the Shurima event was around the corner and now they're ignoring every single complaint about it.
They have no intention of ever fixing her, it's quite sad.

Lawl, shoulda seen Skarner
People just don't like her because it takes a long time to fully stack her passive and she can't carry as hard as most other mid laners. She wasn't really nerfed at all, just still isn't as mobile or bursty as most of the alternatives. Personally, I really like her though.
She has always had a low pick rate, just because she was reworked does not mean that she is, or ever was a good champ...
