Proposed Yasuo Rebalance

Yasuo Movement Speed increased to 345 from 340 Steel Tempest (Q) cooldown now 4 sec at all ranks from 5/4.75/4.5/4 sec

These changes are in the current PBE cycle. These specific changes seek to improve Yasuo's early game, because at his current state, he can't really snowball towards late game like he used to. I personally don't have a problem with this, to be honest give him some of his old stats back EXCEPT for his health, Yasuo players should be reliant on dodging skillshots and blocking them with Windwalls. My biggest gripe that I have with this swordsman was within his ult, and no, it's not the game changing 5 man ultimate, it's the 50% penetration to bonus armor for 15 seconds. This one stat allows Yasuo to snowball harder since itemizing against him is not as cost efficient and he does not need to build Last Whisper since he gets free Armor Penetration from screaming Sorye Ge Ton! To me this is the equivalent of giving a bug 60% DMG reduction for going invisible (to be fair, he is also not in a good state, but that is another discussion). If the balance team insist on keeping this stat, they should make it so the ultimate increases his current armor penetration (1.3x maybe? ie 35 goes to 45.5) and make him have to build armor pen if they are itemizing against him. Let the tanks do their job :)

The bonus armor penetration makes him unique, I feel anything less than penetration of what he has now will hurt him greatly.

Armor Penetration makes Yasuo unique? Not the infinite gap close/ dancing or the wall that can block projectiles (first champion to do so) or the ultimate that only works on airborne targets, it's the armor pen....

No, the BONUS armor pen makes him unique. He is the first champion to have something of that nature.

Armor Penetration makes Yasuo unique?

Well, the fact that it's specifically only Bonus Armor that's affected by Yasuo's ultimate, yes. Unlike other forms of Pen/Shred that account for total Armor, Yasuo's ultimate ignores a champion's base 65-97 of the target's Armor when calculating 50%.

Which makes Thresh vs Yasuo hilarious, because Thresh's passive replaces per-level Armor, meaning almost all of Thresh's Armor is bonus.

At least give him a weakness before giving him a buff

Yasuo has lower health and defensive stats than a lot of mages, even ADCs. He wins trades from his passive, 13 second CD (with tier 2 boots), shield, which can be triggered beforehand with a ranged AA.

As well, he loses in almost every match up against another melee fighter champion, since he is essentially missing an ability.

Yeah I agree, He should not be played with most fighters atm, his wind wall is useless against A LOT of champs in top lane (except ranged top laners), but I did not realize how low his health is compared to the current mages 0_o maybe 30 health back? Idk and maybe give him his dash recharge his shield passive back

The shield recharge will definitely help. Overall, he lacks a lot of defensive utilities compared to other fighters, while having roughly equivalent damage (in fact, most fighters out scale Yasuo).

I always go aggressive with Yasuo when I have max flow because if I don't use the shield a soon as possible, my opponent will just pop it with an AA. In his current state, Yasuo is forced to make repetitive skirmishes with other champions since in an all in, almost anyone can beat him early on with AAs.

The upside is that with so low CDs, he can trade whenever he wants.

You're better off re-working crit before re-working him. I mean, I think one of his biggest advantages is having the a ranged spell (2 q's) but to remove that would kind of kill the whole wind master deal.
