There is no honor initiative for players who only play bot games, but Riot still makes tons of money off of them.
I have chosen not to play PVP because it is not in my nature to be abrasive.
Why is this decision held against me, I still play regularly and am honored routinely for my play.
Honor is still honor, even in bot games, the value of said honor is just less.
The value is even less if you are friended with the person.
Even less if you are honored by the same person repeatedly.
You also give even less if you give honor a lot.
So if you are playing with 4 friends and you are all honoring each other every game you are getting even less combine honor from all 4 people after 10 games than if you got honored once by some random person every 10th game that never honors anyone.
Riot did this on purpose to keep people from abusing the honor system.
