No "loss avoided" for having dc all game????????????????

Wow this is just total BS... I was playing pantheon top and stomped my lane plus the jungler, but because the SCUM mid was laning with our dc, they roamed all fking game. I mean seriously, the people that do that shiz are nothing but scumbag losers. If it's a 4vs5 ALL fking game and you lose, your whole team should get an auto "loss avoided" EXCEPT the person that dc'ed. In addition, the team that won should get a "win avoided" AND less IP compared to the losing team. That will put scumbags losers that can only win in 4vs5's in their place.

I think your opinion is currently biased based on your previous experience. There are several problems that afk loss prevention has.

  1. Let's say you're duo-queuing with a friend. That friend says he'll dc if your team starts losing to save you LP. That's a no no. Riot gets your friend is trying to be nice, but if you're legitimately losing it's not really fair to not lose anything. And people could easily do this with smurfs without any backlash to the account they care about.

  2. "Ok what if I'm not in duo-queue?" You forget, solo and duo queue are the same queue. And even then a friendly player, while trying to be friendly, dc's to make it so no one on his team loses LP. A nice, but unfair thing to do, as it cheats the system. This would probably become a more significant problem than people think.

  3. Riot has gotten so much crap about this that's simply angry ranting from people who lost from an afk rather than analysis on their afk-system that I think they've stopped listening.

  4. People could easily create a second account that they'll have duo queue with them-self. This account would afk the entire game or have one of their friends playing it. If they started losing, the second account would dc, preventing a legit loss as well as denying the enemy team a legit win according to how you want it. And in the event he doesn't have someone to play on this account, it would simply afk the whole game. There's a high chance he'd lose, but it doesn't matter because he doesn't lose LP for losing, but if he wins he gains. It's a no-risk low reward scenario, and more people than you think would probably take advantage.

There are probably more reasons that I have not stated, but I think this alone is sufficient enough.
