Not even level 30 and I face diamond players in normals

I'm a silver 1 player leveling another account for shits and giggles. At level 26, after grinding bot games while watchign netfilx with xp boosts, I hop in draft normals cause I really dislike blind pick. Every loading screen I see gold/plat/diamond borders and I'm thinking wtf is going on. I got roflstomped a few games and I do ok a few games but have yet to do good. Of course I'm also playing champions that are free for the week, so i'm not particularly good with them. But the point is matching a pre-level 30 account against people that were plat/diamond last season doesn't seem very fair. I should be playing other level 26's or bronze people maybe but diamonds seem harsh.

so pretty much what your saying is that your a smurf and you want to face bronze 5 people/ new players so you can stomp them instead of getting stomped by people higher skill level than you?

its not fair for new players to face silver I smurfs is it?

p.s. I get the same thing in a few of my draft normals and notice that most of those DIAs/PLAT are not really that good... mabey thats why they are placed vs silvers/golds/pre-level 30s
