I am getting sick of how much people dodge for no reason at all. They dont get the role they want... play blind pick then... They get salty if a char is banned or picked before they get it... it is never ending. I have to queue at least 3 times to get a match.
i think the penalty needs to be stricter. i mean i will play any champ or role in normals because guess what.. ITS NORMAL.
Treeofwar2 votesblind pick does not solve it because someone can call your role first and you could insta lock and troll and get reported or you could play draft pick and have a higher shot of getting your role. People do dodge and get salty if their team mate picks the champ they wanted to play but i dont see it as much if the enemy does it.

If someone wants to practice a particular champion, how does playing a game where its banned help? (See previous issue for why not just play blind where it can't be banned.)
As another possible reason, if you are playing normal games just for fun or learning and your or the enemy team comp (or your team chemistry) just doesn't look like it will be conducive to that, why waste time?
I understand the plight of needing to go through multiple champion selects, but until they bring back Team Builder (which addressed all these problems, with its own set issues) or something similar, it's kind of something the game is stuck with.

Diversilobum1 votesthe whole reason draft is there is to prep for ranked play. you need to be better with only 2 roles. Blind the other team can have the same champ, it can be picked twice. so i mean blind is a way better option for people, not knowing a second role is not grounds for dodging.

Uncommon Hippo1 votesdoesnt matter. by dodging youre making the matchmaking system have to do more work. more of a workload on the matchmaking system means slower queue times for everyone. think of it like this, if everyone dodged whenever they didnt get to play the role they wanted what impact would that have on league as a whole? longer queues, players not understanding the jobs of other roles on the team because theyve never played anything other than their main role etc. etc.
