Restriction System Completely Unfair

Yeah you can report players but why does honoring players do nothing to balance the reports a player receives? E.g. Someone is salty and reports you while four other teammates honor you, your punished over rewarded and looked at as more toxic then a good player? That sounds a little broken to me. Also, why is the system so harsh? I asked around three people if they played LoL still and they said no not anymore they have completely uninstalled because they didn't care for completing their ranked restrictions, its honestly lost revenue. Forcing people to play an unreasonable amount of normal draft games will only make them more toxic. How is that fine statistic calculated that you claim the system works? Does it even take into account inactive accounts or people creating smurfs? I highly doubt it. Overall I feel if you want to keep a large percentage of your customers happy you should really completely rework the system or just permanently take peoples chat privileges away. Not force them to grind games, and build an addiction to your game and increase their level of stress. I will be making a poll and spreading it around and will post the results back here. I' m interested to see what people think.

+1 Friend (who is conveniently never toxic) gets a rank restriction, finishes all his normal games in a few weeks, plays 3 ranked games and gets it back...

Would be curious to see his games/what he is getting reported for. I have dropped people off my friends list bc I didn't want to duo with them bc they were negative. They would say they were never toxic, but even as their duo I would say they made the game worse for teammates on a semi regular basis.

That is why I would be curious. He may not flame or anything but there might be something being perceived a different way that is causing him problems. I have a friend who has a really dry sense of humor and people laugh all the time in person, but sometimes read it as rude in text bc there is no tone or context that makes it clear he is joking about stuff.

Lol man don't even bother this is clearly the wrong place to try to bring up an issue such as this one this community is clearly full of condescending children. Im going back to Heroes of New Earth just so when someone is acting like an ass they get vote kicked and a new player is placed onto your team. I forgot Ritos servers cant handle something like that, punishment is clearly the way to go. Hope they realized they are losing players. Also got my skin money back and wasted RP being that I have a decent bank and know how to file consumer protection reports. In the end I win. Bye.

I think I know almost a dozen people in real life who play League, none of which have gotten so much as a chat restriction, let alone a ranked restriction. That makes me think the system is quite fair.

I know a dozen people in real life who haven't been to jail, none of which have gotten so much as a ticket, let alone a summons to court. That makes me think the system is quite fair? The prison food is great, they treat you nice and the courts and cops are 100% on your side the entire way? Is that what your saying it literally parallels what you just said. Something more constructive would be better than simplistic generalization from one who hasn't experienced the restriction system. In that case your feedback doesn't quite help or make it fair for you to talk about if you haven't experienced it.

You started this discussion with the premises that many innocent people were being punished by the system. It's that initial argument that I denounced.

Your jail analogy falls short when you look at the last part of your initial post, which would roughly be to appeal to law makers to lessen jail sentences so that inmates could earn more money and be taxed more.

Finally, you seem to forget that Riot doesn't want customers who create a negative experience for others. Riot has mentioned over and over again that those players who aren't willing to change won't be missed. If they make a new account, the same system which banned them once will ban them again unless they've changed. This is exactly the same as an inmate who served their time but went back to jail because they didn't change their behaviour.

What you've described is what Riot wants the system to be.

Yet you still haven't snowballed in the restriction system! It's fallacious to claim something when you haven't been part of it or experienced it. Regardless of my terrible analogy you shown no effort to try to understand what I said other than saying its fine. Sounds like a useless post to me. And you read the argument all wrong I havent said that innocent people where being punished anywhere your just being irrational twisting the argument to your liking. I suggest you stop posting useless commentary from here on out for it is taking away from the purpose of this post.

I think it is more that the majority of people in x society aren't arrested, so even if the system is rigged gainer you when you are arrested it is okay bc it gives a reason to follow the rules and not get arrested. Irl there are issues with how much race and or ses influences the system and stats back that up. In lol though those issues. Don't exist so even if the system hurts people picked up by it, it does not unfairly target people, or treat people different who are picked up, so it is okay to punish people harshly.
