How late into the game was it? Renekton doesn't exactly scale in the same way as Jax does, so if you were fairly late into the game it makes sense that he'd destroy you.

you dont do extended fights with jax for one

tri force is super strong on him with his kit

jax out scales ren at all states of game.. your best as ren til about lvl 6 then it favors jax

You got outscaled...that happens a lot...no matter how fed, Renekton mid-late game is much less likely to beat jax...you're better off going and one shorting the ADC and then just running over the rest of their team

Jax scales well... Renek doesn't.

Jax can ignore your auto attacks for a pretty decent time during a duel.

If you're asking this, you don't know your champs. Renek is an early game lane dominator but he falls off pretty badly, while Jax is pretty meh early but used to be called the comeback king for how well he bounces back come later in the game.

Renekton scales like tissue paper and is just a stun bot by the end of the game typically. Jax is one of the best scaling champions in the game and hits a spike after triforces.

You also need to what Jax does in fight and pay attention to his ablities. If he does them at the right times he will wreck pretty much anyone, regardless of how many kills they have.

If it weren't for all the reworks, buffs and Jhin this season, Jax would still be permabanned. With 10 bans coming next season, I wouldn't be surprised if he once again has a high ban rate.
