Jarvan IV: Is Cataclysm Obsolete?

Hello Everyone,

I am a salty Jarvan IV jungler main. The reason being is that riot has been pumping out all of these champions and reworks that can jump over, run through, and/or completely demolish walls. Back in the early days I would get annoyed from champions being able to flash out of my Cataclysm crater, but accepted it because it was fair. Now that we have all these different ways of moving through terrain, where does that leave Jarvan? Sure he still has a solid amount of damage but the fun part of playing him was always trapping your enemies (or allies) in an inescapable crater under turret while spamming the laugh emote. Maybe I'm just an old player reminiscing about the good ol' days, but I do think something should change about his ult, be it giving it more inescapability like Camille's ult or something else entirely. Thoughts?

And on top of that even worse is when you ult someone and they just dash out of the zone while you're mid air so you ult where they were and do 0 damage. Trading your R for something like Camille's dash sucks hard

Forcing their mobility spell (if its up/they even have one), AOE damage, or death if they don't have it up is a pretty good ultimate, especially when it is AOE. Jarvan is seeing a fair bit of play, so I don't think it being given inescapably (especially considering it is AOE), is warranted.
