Ranked Team Elo Boosting

So I play on a ranksd gold level 3v3 team. The other night we played 5 games against 5 different teams, each comprised of silver and gold players, but always with at least one diamond player as well. I understand platinum, but if I can't duo queue with somebody that much higher than myself, why should i have to lane against one in ranked team play? I dont believe you should be able to create teams with players that far outside of your elo. It is essentially elo boosting and as a gold player, the odds of me consistently beating diamond players are slim. I already get the sense riot doesnt care about 3v3 play all that much, but I believe they should keep duo queue and team play consistent.

That's something I don't understand either - Ranked teams don't have MMR restrictions? So a Master could could four Bronzies together and then go pub stomp them to Gold? Doesn't make a lot of sense.

no they do, its just that there's fewer participants so the system gradually expands what is acceptable and unacceptable the longer you remain in queue for the sake of finding A match rather than a FAIR match.

because otherwise you'd be waiting forever.

and back at OP, its a team of anyone put together, thats why they're a team, their group cooperation will get them the rank that they deserve, no less, yes i agree the diamond player will carry the bronze players up a bit, however the bronze players will also prevent the diamond player from reaching his full potential as well and he wont climb as high.

we were aware of their ranks during loading and adjusted tactics accordingly. It was quite a competitive game - they ended up destroying both our nexus turrets but we rallied back and won. It was quite a good game.

If you are afraid of facing people of higher rank than you, you will never grow.
