AD Teemo? Would you have told me the same thing?

So lately I've been building AD and this last game I played there was a . Now the whole time she started talking sh** on how shouldn't be building AD Teemo and I wasn't doing anything wrong, I went positive and even went on a rampage. I did lose lane but I was against an Ekko and his Q I believe does a ton of damage to me, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't because of my AD Teemo. And still the whole game Zyra and I were arguing about how I should have gone AP.

AD teemo doesn't work well because he has no AD scalings, and also because he already gets an AA damage steroid by building AP, so its not like you are missing out on sustained damage by building AD.

If you really want to build AD, then build a item 3153 and the rest AP. The hybrid damage is much harder to defend against than pure AD or pure AP, and your mushrooms still hurt like a motherfucker because of the AP.

Attack speed (+AP) Teemo is an actual build that's based around his E, which is an on-hit effect.

True AD Teemo isn't viable, but he can pick up items like BotRK for the on-hit effect and the attack speed.

Anything AD is viable, if you can afford the items (not the most optimal build, but it's ok). Teemo has only 500 range, but he destroys all the adcs except Cait, Varus, Ashe, Trist and Jinx - who will shoot him from too far away.

Pros of AD Teemo:

Good sustain.
Can build more focused on lifesteal, and especially attack speed.
Q blind can give you lots of room to AA your health back with lifesteal while taking in less damage.
