Doing something about the AFK PROBLEM in ranked

How come riot doesn't protect the players that have afks in games. Ive had so many games now where I have 1-2 people go afk from the start. Its not fair for the players that are actually trying to move up. Just had a recent game where we had 2 afks from the start and still lost lp because of it. Im just tried of this happening and it needs to protect the players who can't help this because its a solo q or something.

What is everyones thoughts on this?
