non-reportable game mode

skooma dealer420··0 votes·1,645 views

here me out, i have a theory. i was playing h1z1 the other day and realized how fun it is to talk shit to other people, in that game, its not taken too seriously, the game is wayyyy more fun that way. with that in mind think about this:

Riot makes a game mode for summoner's rift that is NON-reportable and has the mic features that h1z1 has. The mature audience of LoL who can handle this type of fun shit talking should not be punished for OVERLY-SENSITIVE players who take the game WAYYYY too seriously. play h1z1 and see how relaxed and fun the game is. those overly sensitive ppl don't have to join this game mode.

Interesting fact: The #1 most helpful review for H1Z1 on Steam, upvoted over 1000 times, goes into detail about how the community is a bunch of assholes. This is probably not an example Riot wants to emulate.

well that doesn't matter anyways. most ppl think riot's community is already full of assholes anyways. you might as well concentrate them all into one spot. we could just call it murder nite.

I like the idea. To be honest, I am disappointed in this fragile community. It gets to the point where you can't even say anything at all, or you face being reported. "GG EZ" Gets you banned literally.

It's a community problem. I mean there is a reason why there is a mute button for, chat filter, and a /all disabled option. Yet no one uses them, they just rather report people and report people continuously for even the slightest ounce of what could be looked at negative. I also put this blame on the US as a whole for raising these softies we see today cause back then, people had some thicker skin. Today you see a word being said to a person of color, you are called a racist. If you don't acknowledge the black person in the room, you are a racist. If you kick the black person from the school and expel him, you are a racist. Yep, that's the world we live in today, and it is also brought into this game full of sensitive people, probably virgins still living with their mom afraid of confrontation, and need to feel like everything said is a threat, therefore must be reported.

Second blame is for bad players in general, if you didn't suck so much at the game, then well, half these toxic players wouldn't be toxic. it's a fact that more often than not, the toxic person probably cares way more about winning the match than you do, and they hate losing, especially if it involves someone who sucks at the game causing them the game which ruins the fun, and experience because some people like to have fun, and some love to win, and for someone to just do so poorly, they become toxic and flame that person, almost rightfully so if you ask me because there is no need EVER for someone to go 0-10 in a game EVER. Were past the noob stage, you played some games, you should have a understanding.

So the loser who basically feeds ends up reporting the person for being toxic although it's not the toxic persons fault he is toxic, he is triggered. Should he be toxic? To some degree I would argue yes, bad players need to be put in their place and need to be told they suck ass. Military drill instructors bash the fuck out of their privates all the time and push them to the limit calling them names and shit, you don't see them quitting the military tho do you? You see them pushing EVEN HARDER because of that. When a sports team is down in a game and at half time the coach goes off and starts bashing his players, that lights a fire under their ass to attempt to do better. So yeah, bad players should be criticized.

So the lesson is, learn to grow a thick skin, stop being a baby. Unless someone is telling you to go kill yourself, and other shit, then you shouldn't be a baby about it and go on a reporting spree. Also learn to make use of the chat filter, and mute button, and the across team chat function.

Bring on the idea of the trash talk! You see UFC fighters and boxers talking trash to one another but then they hug after the fight and show some respect for the most part.

i have actually never been banned. but there are times when i play and i outplay somebody and just want to say "HAH, FUCK U NOOB!!!!", but i can't because someone might cry irl. if you take it personally of course its going to hurt...but you shouldnt be taking words personally on the internet...you will probably never play with that turd again anyways.

You've never been banned cause you're level 9

http://www.lolking.net/summoner/lan/4140524 i moved back to NA because the ping went down when they moved the server to chicago (thank fucking god). my ping went from 140 to 72. My LAN ping was 40. i literally played brand support and talked in all caps in LAN ...and i reached plat 4 easily, i only started playing again recently, i go to school for chemistry so it takes a lot of my time up. i'll be happy to 1 v 1 you on my NA account. 1 V1 ME NOOB.

http://www.lolking.net/summoner/lan/4140524 This was me last season. i played on LAN because the ping was 40, i live in florida. i play on NA now, i started playing again a month ago. anyone who is a science or engineering major knows how much time these take.

my point is if i can make it to plat iv trolling with support brand and talking in all caps...sensitive ppl can ignore someone and mute them. i'll be happy to 1 v 1, my NA summoner name is princess bblgum, and i have never been banned.

obviously u didn't read between the lines and i have to spell it out to you.....im not talking about feeding and leaving, talking about communication. the point is it doesn't punish the players who like to talk shit...and people who are flowers can elect not to join this game mode.

Prospector Pete2 votes

No.

AdanChristo2 votes

Yes for giving the OPTION, but no if it's to replace the current status, bm is fun and good, and children have ruined it for us adults so yea there should be a non-chat ban ranked mode

tr8terburns2 votes

I think this is a great idea. Who doesn't want to talk some shit with their fellow players? It would be nice to have a lobby where you dont have to worry about some kid who thinks saying "screw you" means you should get perma banned. This stuff is going to happen anyways so why not make a room where the people who enjoy it can express themselves stress free.

DB Gaming2 votes

It's pretty sad you want to be an asshole so bad you're asking Riot for a game mode where you can act that way... the hell is wrong with you? If you like getting nasty with people... do it in the real world. Go to your local bar and 'shit talk' people, or since you're too young... go to your local gas station. When they're stomping a mud-hole in your ass you can explain to them how they're just overly sensitive.

Does this help put in perspective why you shouldn't act that way? Just because you're playing a video game doesn't mean you should talk to someone in a way we both know you wouldn't in person.

Wonderful, a game mode where people will freely call me an n word, british cigarette. Would totally not be abused by edgy teenagers who think using the most profane language is actually "mature"

But think of the quiet that could come over other modes if all the shits go there lol.

Not that I endorse this.

who said they think its mature? i just like using profanity, it gets the point across and people take offense to it. I enjoy getting a kick out sensitive kids.

oo la la....don't act like a saint tr8ter...every one has games where the get mad on someone on there team because they misplayed or played poorly and IM CERTAIN, you have done that. the only difference between you and I is that you're objective is to expel your wrath on another human being and i'm not being that serious. I don't take the game that seriously...half the stuff i say doesn't even make sense, i'll kill someone and be like "CHECK PLZ", or i'll get killed by someone and be like "FUCK YOU BRO, I LOVE YOU.", which is why i've never been banned lol.

Haha we both want the same thing but we use it in different ways. You want the un-bannable game mode because you like saying (potentially offensive) things just out of fun. I want the game mode because I like saying )potentially offensive) things because it makes me have more fun in the game. So you say "fuck you bro, i love you" and i say "get fucked". Both are potentially offensive but in the game mode it wouldnt be reported by players.

u can always ya know...just mute ppl. i know exactly what happens though. one guy calls you a feeder then u take it personally....and then u argue like he's your boyfriend, but he's not really...he's just some guy u met on the internet 10 minutes ago. you could just tell him to stfu, and then mute him.

that just breeds toxicity even more
