Solo carry champs?

Hi board community, i was just wondering, what champs did get you out of silver/gold? I tried many of them: Adc: Kai'sa(yeah cancer ik), Kog'maw, Draven, Sivir. Mid: Diana, Ap Seju(yeah it acutally works in silver). Top: Darius, Aatorx, Garen. Jungler: Amumu, Rek'sai, Tank Seju, Ap Seju. Support: Nami, Soraka.

In 85% of games. i played pretty well in laning phase, but sadly at end, game was lost. Soo i was wondering, what champs can beat Darius, Kassadin and those guys who can get fed in every part of game, or which champ did you play to get out of elo hell?

Edit: some good builds would be appricated as well [katarina-love]

“Solo carrying” isn’t so much about 1v5, so much as it is about getting your team to fight with you. In my opinion, the BEST champion for this is Jarvan. Other Vanguards and Divers also work well. What carries games is getting a feel for when to take which fights, and then signaling your team to follow with a flashy engage.

Play your best champions and focus on improving each game as opposed to winning. If you are actually good enough to get out of your current elo then playing your best champions will do that the quickest(obviously take some champion strength into account like if your main is at like a 30% win rate don't play them lol). If you are not good enough just yet just focus on what you can do to improve your game. (obviously take some champion strength into account like if your main is at like a 30% win rate don't play them lol).

One thing that is is super helpful when trying to climb is honestly just having the right mindset. If you go into every game with the sole intent of winning that single game it is much easier to get tilted when something does not go your way and harder to reflect on your mistakes to improve. If you go into your games with the intent of improving so that you can win more in the future then it is easier to analyze what you can work on and not get as tilted when things do not work out. If you are able to play well in lane 85% of the time focus then on what you are doing after.

It might be somewhat boring or time consuming but just looking at your own gameplay/replays and figuring out what DECISIONS you can improve upon will help you climb better than just switching a champ. Player skill makes more of an impact on the amount of games that you will win than champion choice.

You don’t play tanks to get out of elo hell.

One tactic is to take a strong splitpusher on top and just keep splitting on top. Tryndamere is one such champ. Take ignite and go for an all in level 2. That can snowball you in a few games.

But realistically there’s “trolls” and bad players on both sides. Accept that you’ll be on a worse team sometimes and that you’ll lose games. Also accept that sometimes you’ll be responsible for the game loss. Win or lose as a team.

Just don’t tilt and you’ll be out eventually

I think the best solo carry champions are Irelia, Jax, Master Yi, and Tryndamere. Playing well in lane is only important for getting that early lead to use in team fights. Kai'Sa is a great pick for this, you just need to know how to position yourself. Any champion can be your solo carry champion, look at my Warwick (when I try hard and am not drunk I usually can roll with him). Positioning is probably the most important thing in silver and gold, that and try to focus more on one lane and master a couple of champions for that lane. As far as getting autofilled, you need to learn how to just not feed and go even, you don't have to win lane you just need them to not win lane.

I snowball pretty hard with evelynn, granted that I have a decent team, while I do agree that mindset is a lot of what you need, but I also have to bring the attention that mindset isn't always the only thing. I only play flex because I can trust my team mates to not feed within the first five minutes, or I can trust them to ward their rivers or bushes when they need or even paying attention to the map when I'm fighting a 2v1 in the jungle.

Everyone can say that its only mindset, but if you are not good enough to solo hard carry a match then no its not all you need, smart team mates are also a must imo. Ive been in way to many solo/duo games to where I get trolls, people who just shouldn't be in ranked because they are not educated enough to know how to properly play IE: map awareness, vision control, and great positioning.[sg-lux-2]

But also One tricking is a good way to climb as well as much as it is frowned upon -_-

Tbh, you can solo carry with anything under like Diamond 3. I solo'd from S5 to P1 in just two months only playing (old) Irelia, despite her being in the weaker end.

I don't know if you are still in silver, but from reading the thread I noticed you are doing well but your teammates are not. So I think what you should be doing is play a role such as Jungle or mid and focus on roaming and objectives etc. This will basically keep and even playing field with for teammates but you will be up so it will be an easy win.
