Riot, listen please, this is important!

All you need to do, is force a test the first time you queue for ranked, and then one each month following, something similar to an aptitude test, something people have to take seriously, obviously not going to be perfect but if you fail this aptitude test, or they don't take it seriously, they're rejected for that month of ranked queuing! First Troll Wall.

Secondly, tally up all the bans for that month before you retake the test, and if it's below the Threshhold, then you're banned from ranked for that month, yeah it is a little harsh, but this rotten community needs it, honestly, second Troll Wall.

Please riot, I beg of you, listen to our ideas, some of them are brilliant, whether or not you like mine, someone's out there is the answer to our problems! All you have to do is listen to us, don't lie and say you do, the tribunal may have stopped some of it, but honestly, take a friggen look at the forums while the Moderators are away, it's the most disgusting god awful thing you'll ever lay your eyes on.

You're game is free, I get that, but without forcing people to pay, some of them won't take things seriously, i.e. ranked. Please riot, I am truly tired of it, I have spent hundreds of hours on this game, probably spent more than I'd like to admit on skins and the occasional champion, but I can't take it anymore. Do something to make me love this game again, please. item 3070 item 2050

Sincerely, A devoted fan

Lyte has mentioned that less than 1% of the community get banned or chat restrictions, so I wouldn't say that the community is rotten. I rarely get trolls or toxic players in my games. I think that it is just easier to remember the games that someone was toxic in, than it is to remember the games where people were positive or not chatty.

A very low percentage of players use the forums at all. I also noticed that the bad posts get downvoted pretty quickly by the community, so I wouldn't say that those posts hold the majority of player opinion.

I don't think that a test would help at all in ranked. How do you decide what questions would be on the test? What about when the meta changes? How does a test judge if someone is good at ranked? What is to stop someone from just looking up the answers to the questions or cheating in general?

You are going to get people who don't take things seriously no matter what. These people will fall in their rankings, or if they are toxic players they will get banned. So don't worry about it too much. However, If you aren't liking the game that you play, you should take a break. Sometimes a break is good. It doesn't mean stop forever, it just means stop for a bit. Usually you'll come back more enthused about the game than before.

I'm simply talking about weeding out some of them, trust me this would work. The first step is putting up a small wall, people don't want to waste time, especially having to answer questions.

And that would be up to Riot to decide as far as the test questions go, you're missing the point man, it doesn't test if you're good, it's simply testing to see if you're going to take things seriously, if you're willing to go out of your way to look the answers up, then that clearly means you're either really, really bad at tests, or that you really want to play, very few would waste that much time just to troll.

And I don't believe that it's only 1%. Ranked is literally swarming with afkers, and leavers. Do a bandwidth check, stop letting people with horrid internet play a game that is so heavily reliant on it! It's as simple as that!
