More and more bot users

Anyone else noticing the increase of bots to farm IP and EXP?They are all over the place when I play any blind pick match. They will feed the enemy and run in to turrets, maybe even sit around one monster camp and repeatedly kill the monsters there. They are starting to ruin League and Riot isn't doing much about it

From what I've heard, it's pretty common to see bots levelling up to 30. It's really unfortunate that Riot hasn't addressed this - new players are the future of the game after all.

It hasn't been addressed because accounts are free to make, the botters just make new ones endlessly in mass amounts. They do get caught fairly easily, but bans for them are done in waves at regular intervals, so once detected they may be left up for a few days or a week until the next wave hits.

It's not the greatest experience for the players that play with them in the meantime, but it's done to prevent the botters (or cheaters) from figuring out exactly how they get caught, because that would allow them to avoid the red flags and result in them being up even longer.

Thats about right. I mean if they were banned 30 min after they do something detected, then eventually they would have a "fix" for that thing and avoid detection longer.

The other problem is people dont report in this game properly.

The problem is that there is a 1-30 leveling process that is a waste of time. You can say "learning curve" blah blah blah, but really it's another out-date cash cow for Riot to try and mike for xp-boosts. You can buy a bot leveled 30 account for like 2-3 hours of minimum wage, but Riot wants you to spend WEEKs in the process?

This is economics 101 here.
