Syndra's w feels depressing

Syndra has a history of being a really powerful mid lane mage, lately though with her recent nerf to her w I feel so depressed when I play her. I feel like I'm trying to hit a mosquito and my hand just has a giant hole in it making harder to even attempt to hit targets with her w. the nerf makes her w feel almost impossible to hit people now and it honestly makes me so mad. given my skill rn isn't at a high enough level and I need to train more with her I feel like its just way to sad to try and attempt to hit someone. I honestly want to know if people just don't like her nerf and where she stands rn as a mid laner (or support on occasion), ive had such a big fondness of her and I just want to know if there is something riot can do to make her stand somewhere along the line of being able to keep up with skill shots and still have counter play. feel free to express any thoughts I honestly just want to know how others feel about her besides her given history.
