Elder Dragon is just ridiculous...

I mean... It's definitely not fun either way.

I don't have fun as a team just ENDING the game by getting elder dragon.. the team fight is hardly satisfying to dominate them
It's not fun at all.. Give EVERYONE an instant Pyke Ult? This HAS to be a joke.. anyways I'm really praying this doesn't make it through pre-season..

IF I could offer my opinion of what would be fun.

Situation: Team kills elder dragon. The dragon drops the 20% execute Buff. One player from the team can take it. while everyone on the team gets general stat increase. This would add strat (choosing who gets the buff) and wouldn't completely dominate the game.

Its supposed to be a game ender. Its not supposed to be "fun and interesting". Its the "ok, this game went on too long, someone has to win now" buff.

I had this Clash game on weekend, where my team had Dragon Soul (I dont remember which element), and the enemy 2 inhibs down. Also + gold, and so on. We had 1 inhib down. (Clear advantage in our favor overall). We went to take Elder drake to finish the game, and a teamfight happened. Enemy won it on a coinflip... Then they won every subsequent teamfight off it (Got Baron, etc).

I realized no matter who gets it... Your nexus could be open with 3 inhibs fown, 10 000 gold behind... That if you get Elder drake, you win 100%, Lmao.

Its crazy.

If youre that far ahead, and fail to establish map dominance and allow a team with 3 waves of double super minions to get out of their base long enough to contest an elder and win...... you deserve to lose. That is such a major fuckup from your own team that is inexcusable.

Elder should only be as strong as Baron, IMO. Baron was also supposed to be a game ender, but it doesn't instantly decide games like Elder does. Giving it to only one champ would be an interesting balance, since a team's carry becomes super strong. Let the healer support take it, though... Yeah, I'd be willing to try that, but it seems like that might kill the buff a little too much. I guess if the whole team gets something like old Elder it'd be OK.

Yeah that's why I figured I'd give my feedback.

As for the "game ender" well that doesnt' make sense because we had a pretty good game and we worked our way , ahead of the opposing team. they managed to get the elder drake and demolished us despite being behind.

If you were ahead and didn’t get elder, that’s bad on your team. If you were ahead and just didn’t end the game when you could have, that’s bad on your team too. The new elder is there as some have said to literally wrap up the game. You might not like it, but I personally am okay with not have 60+ minute games. Truth is, you can still lose with elder... believe me I have lost games even though I have secured every dragon, herald and baron. All it takes is for your team to get cocky, and next thing you know it’s you vs 5 enemies at your nexus.
