Change Gangplank, Riot pls

Okay, so it's common knowledge that GPGangplank is a trolly champion with mechanics that are somewhat average and not that impressive or helpful. Honestly, if you don't build him ap or crit, he's just a waste of the server. "What can we do to fix him?" A Riot employee asks in my mind. Well for starters, you could buff his passive or just completely change it because it's garbage and totally useless. If you don't know the numbers, it does 3 plus GP's level each second for 3 seconds...

Let me put that in perspective, it does 12 magic damage before adding magic resistance at level 1. Lets say the enemy champion has a 20% reduction because i want to make this simple, it would do an astounding 9.6 damage!!! And that's being nice on the MR rating too, that's not even the base level that all champions have (30). Not to mention that his passive has no scaling or ratio to speak of, making it wasteful on a champion that could have so much potential if Riot would just give him some loving.

Other than that, he could use some new and interesting mechanics to the rest of his kit. Gangplank used to be one of my favorite champions to play, and to this day, I still play him for fun. But I can't help that the pirate needs something to keep him alive in the games heart. If they can make Nidalee an actual interesting champion and also a real assassin, they can fix Gangplank.

That's all folks, please do leave a comment and let me know what you think down below. As always, don't be too school for cool!

Edit: I do know that they plan on giving Gangplank a visual and gameplay update, but I seriously doubt it'll be anything crucial to the survival of the champion.

I agree, he is the only melee ADC in the game who has no method of actually getting close enough to melee you.

His passive stacks and he has an autoattack resent so that he can easily apply the three stacks when in melee range. Its damage is very nice early on in the game, but it falls off quite hard. It used to stack up to 5 times when GP was first reworked, but I guess that was toxicly op early and still relevant afterwards.

They have resurrected Ashe from ashes, although they'll hit her hard with nerfs next patch. I hope they'll do a good job with him too. Right now his "gap-closer" consists in the combination of the Passive on-hit slow applied by Q + the Phage MS bonus + the E MS boost, which is quite lame, especially vs mobile adcs. His new passive and E should provide him stronger ways to get in melee range and perhaps some more dueling potential, cutting down his team-related buffs.
