Gaining 9LP but losing 14 in Bronze4?
I am so ready to give up on league. It is so infuriating to only gain 9lp per a win and then lose 14. How am I ever supposed to climb out in a system that's built to drag you down?

I do belive that losing sprees like the one you went on recently can do that to lp gain loss/gain, but I'm not fully sure if that is correct. Play well and it should become much easier to climp the ranks.
because your win/loss ratio. If you win ratio is higher then your loss ratio u will receive more lp.
Looks like you had a big losing streak also before your win streak. So that would do it also
Your MMR is shown as being below your current ranking. Start on a good winning streak, then you should see your LP ratios get better. I too am in Bronze 4 and I usually get 21-30 LP for a win and lose 6-14 LP for a loss.
It's not so much your win/loss ratio directly, but your mmr relative to your peers which is effected by wins/losses. If you win a match against a bunch of diamonds, then your mmr would take a massive leap and you'd gain more like 30 lp from a win and lose 5 from a loss during a bronze 4 match since the game recognises you belong somewhere hgiher. On the other hand if you keep losing in bronze matches, it thinks you belong lower so your lp gains will be smaller than your lp losses.
tl;dr: LP gains/losses depend on your mmr.
Your MMR is around 420, the expected MMR for Bronze IV is in the 850 range. In short, your MMR is almost two full leagues lowerr than would be expected out of a Bronze IV player.
Seriously, what did you do? It's the first time that I get a confirmation that MMR can go that low. I'm surprised that you only lose 14LP per loss.
Your mmr seems to be much lower than an average person's mmr in that elo. However once u start winning more games and losing less games the MMR will eventually fix itself and you'll gain more points than u lose. It's definitely going to take a lot of games however
