I really really hate playing normals and getting put with EVERY Gold+ as a Silver player. Really puts into perspective the issues normal games have with matching people of equal MMR together. Its terrible. Newer and more unskilled players are, to me, so discouraged of the game because they get STOMPED in norms. Do normal low MMR players look up the people they play against? I bet not. Imagine playing a "normal" game unknowingly playing against players 3+ WHOLE TIERS ahead of you. Very very bad setting for a "normal" play mode.

However, I think what you are wanting is Ranked matchmaking that will not risk or reward LP.

That would be called Skirmishes, or "Skirms"

I think a Skirms cue would be a great addition to the game.

While I agree that a matchmaking system would ideally match players of similar skill, if normals were matched by rank,
