Demoted after only 1 loss???

This has never happened before so I'm just wondering if this is an actual thing or a mistake but are other people also getting demoted after only 1 loss at 0 LP? I've never had it happen with less than 2.

rip, never happened to me. i stay 0 LP til a loss or 2.

Maybe your mmr was lower than the division you were in. IDK, ranked does weird things, I have skipped divisions twice in 5 games before.

This feels to be the case. A year or two back, had the same issue. Would struggle to finish my promotion, lose a game, then immediately get sent back. Though this season, the lp gain has always been in large amounts for each win, so the times I'd been given a few loss leeway during my Bronze matches whenever I bottom out at 0 lp may coincide with it as well.

Would make sense If say I had lost 2-3 games in a row then hit 0 and lost another. But was nothing like that. Had a win was at 19 points, lost lost the 19 points to put me at 0, then lost another and just boom demoted.
