Is League harder or is it just me?

Maybe I've just gotten worse or have not adjusted to what's new and "OP" yet but I have found that lately all of my games on league have been very difficult to win. Some runes are so much stronger than others and it amazes me how much a Caitlyn can do against a Vayne and Soraka 2v1 with the same items just because she went something else for her runes... or maybe it's just because we suck. And not to mention some champions (Don't want to name names.... ) this preseason seem to be deleting other champs off the game and that's no fun running around like it's Silent Hill...

All in all not really a rant or a complaint... just seeing if maybe anyone else has noticed.
