Zz Rot Portal being removed for being a "troll" item is tragic. I actually love the visual effects and use of it.

If it's a troll item in the Devs eyes, then I would hope they would at least adjust it's price or stats? It's ADORABLE and it munches towers when thrown into the chaos of a full teamfight push. It's also hilarious when you get a friend to build one 3rd item with you and you double spawn them. :3

-I'm not saying it's competitively viable but I am saying it's fun and I, and many others enjoy it. Please don't remove it just because.

More strategic restriction and meta enforcement, why am I not surprised . . . Why not just buff it's stats and alter the effect instead?

Heartbreaking. You can use it as terrain for champs like Bard and Poppy .

Its also a ward on steroids for vision and great bait for picks.

I'd really enjoy it if a RIOT employee chimed in on this topic. It's about fun>competitive play for me.

A strategic or tactical item? I am amazed that it existed this long. If it does not do damage or make flashy plays for eSports Riot wants none of it.

I miss all of the other item actives similar to ZZ (and it's build path) as well. I used to buy them all as a support- including ohm wreaker and it would generate great results. I would feel like a useful player rather than a partner who relies on others.

This was my most used and favorite item. It will be sorely missed as there is nothing else to give me that feeling that I can keep up with aggro lane champs without risking my life for minions without ganks anymore.

so sad just like you guys said, more restriction an what players can do, more and more focus on just winning through kills. removed banner, changed mountain from obj damage, removed zz rot, nerfed rift herald, basically splitting is nerfed. making the game more linear when leagues diversity of options is what brought a lot of people to the game. sad

The issue wasn't that it was a troll item, the problem was that whenever it was good it was broken and meta-warping. They simply decided that it can't be balanced and removed it from the game.
