Before people state the obvious of using Parrrley on Barrels to waveclear. It's important to know how.

If you attempt to clear a wave using Q on a barrel, you might notice that you won't have sufficient damage to last hit ALL the minions in the barrels radius.

To increase the odds of the explosion killing minions in the affected area, you might want to try basic attack each minion one or twice until they're at a point where you can assume using Q on a barrel will kill them all.

It'll take some practice.

Its just about practice, gradually you'll learn your Q/barrel damage at different levels of Q as well as items.

Once you have triforce you can usually 1 shot caster minions with a barrel, but before that it can be a bit tougher, just keep playing and practicing and you'll get used to Q damage w/ and without sheen lvls 1-5. Gp's barrel minigame makes him a champ that requires a decent amount of practice to get the most out of, if you enjoy him just keep playing him even in bot games, getting used to timing the ticks of your barrels at different levels in the skill as well as the damage to minions. And eventually you'll get good even at getting passive resets with your barrels for more true damage from your passive.

Wait for trinity. After trinity, Barrel + Q one shots caster minions, from that point wave clearing is pretty simple, 1 barrel for casters + 1 basic attack for melee minions. After you get more damage and crit, you can 1 shot waves.

It's not hard, just farm up until sheen for reliable Q last hitting, then after trinity your wave clear is great.
