AKALI BEST !!!

Personal preference but I'd take ignite instead. You'll already have the life steal and spell vamp, as well as you may go invisible/untargetable for a brief moment. As well as I'd use Alacrity on the MP boots for early/mid game, if losing or about to lose then buy them to defend quickly.

Ignite>Heal on Akali, and Zhonya's is practically essential on her for rushing right after Gunblade. After that, your items look fine. But to be entirely honest, unless you're at very low ELO (sort of like me), the recent nerf was the last step needed to make her unviable midlane. She goes toplane now, where you can actually q-proc with your auto-attacks instead of being perma-zoned from the minion wave, or obliterated by constant long-ranged harass. Besides, her built-in sustain was kind of made for the toplane, don't you think?
