Tips on Fizz?

Wonkss··2 votes·363 views

I have recently started playing Fizz in normal's since i am new with him but it seems to me in the early game i get destroyed because they can easily consistently poke me to half health then i get ganked. But in the late game i can easily pick up at least 8-10 kills. I really want to get good with this champion because i realize he can carry games and that is exactly what i need.

If they decide to poke you don't be afraid to trade with them. I like to bring thunderlords just for this reason as it makes trading very effective all game long. Also it is important to keep your E up when you don't know where their jungler is as it is a free and easy escape. Also If you notice they are out of position at level 6, Just all in them with R, Q, E, and finish them off with some autos from your W.

But yah, trading wise don't be afraid. He is insane in 1v1s. Also If you see they want to trade with you (Lets say your vs a nidalee) It would be wise to counter-trade using your E to negate damage. If she throws a spear, Use your E to dodge it and then finish it off by landing on top of her. Then you can use the rest of your abilities and you should come out on top. I cant stress how important his E is in trades because it can literally make you win every single one if used efficiently.

Best of luck,

It certainly takes a fair bit of dodging. You need to posture forward within the minion wave so that you can trade on them when they try to last hit a minion. Whenever they get within range, you W>Q forward and smack them a few times. Then you can walk away, or E if you must so that you can get away from a charm or something similar. But definitely posture forward and try to push them off the minion wave. Usually they'll either spend all their mana trying to last hit or they'll spend a lot of time farming under tower--both bad for them.

If you aren't already, try starting a corrupting potion. It really helps that play pattern. Just make sure you're abusing his passive so that you can close on them from angles others wouldn't and escape through the wave so they can't chase you directly.

Lastly, punish them for missing skillshots. If they try to use their stun on you, E forward to dodge it and smack them a few times before escaping with a Q to a minion if you can't just back out.

start flask and take cs where you can, DO NOT TRADE until you have sheen and even then if it's against an early game laner be careful

always remember that a w q auto procs thunderlords and with the w extra damage it can do a lot
