No Skill Champions

This is my personal opinion on champs that take little to no skill to play and are slightly op.

Top Lane

  1. Master Yi I'm pretty sure Master Yi is the easiest champion to play. He does take skill to play against experienced players, but when you first start playing or make a smurf it's pretty unfair to play against him. It really ruins the game when you first start and have a champion that's not even fed run into a group of 5 and kill you then run off. If Yi had either his Q,W, or R nerfed he wouldn't be so overpowered.
  2. Tryndamere He takes more skill than Yi but not much. Basically Everything about Yi is the same for this champ except I don't feel Tryndamere should be nerfed.
  3. Garen He gets to tanky and does a lot of damage for being a tank. I actually enjoy playing against Garen though because you can 1v1 him and put up a fight if you play properly.(Unlike Yi, and Tryndamere.... Mostly Yi)

Mid Lane

  1. Annie Very seldom do I have a problem with Annie anymore, but when I first started I hated playing against her. She is just very easy to play when you first start and I've seen some people stick to playing Annie's at high levels and they still manage to do great with her. She is just very easy to play.
  2. Leblanc She does so much damage early game and takes nothing to get fed, I do understand she isn't nearly as good late game. My problem is how fast she ruins your chances of laning. 3.Nidalee I hate this champion almost as much as Yi. When I see a Nidalee player my impression of what is going through there mind is "I have a spear, lets throw it and see who we kill." Her spear at level 1 once took down half my health then she tower dove me and managed to get away with the tower only managing to fire once.

Support

  1. Blitzcrank I love Blitzcrank, but he is very easy to use. If you grapple somebody it's pretty much RIP.
  2. Kayle She is very easy to play and does a lot of damage if for being a support. Her invincibility can be a pain and she also has a heal, together that seems pretty easy to play to me.
  3. Sona Just sit and heal over and over and over and over. She is super easy, and I don't see why people even want to play her.It seems like more of a chore than fun to play Sona.

ADC

  1. Vayne This is really the only ADC I find to be very overpowered. If you can get her even slightly fed it's gg for bot lane. Then when she is close to death, just roll away.
  2. Miss Fortune Her abilities pretty much cover 99% of the sticky situations you can get into as an ADC. Especially her ult, Say goodbye to your whole team when she's fed, turns around, and ults.
  3. Jinx Can constantly harass you then when she has you at half health ult and goodbye.

Jungle

  1. Warwick You almost have to have your alt to gank unless you're really fed, but when you have it just ult in free kill.
  2. Fiddlesticks Fear, Drain, win and that is pretty much it if you want to play Fiddlesticks. His ult is basically just a bonus. I really like Fiddle though even though it feels pretty easy to play him.
  3. Nasus Land a few ganks, get your stacks up and win. He is really easy, but I feel like he is easy to counter also.

Honorable mentions: Ryze, Teemo, Caitlyn, and Morgana

These are just in my personal opinion, and I would honestly like to hear everbody else's opinion. (Especially about Yi)

Every champion requires some sort of skill.

That's true Annie needs to press R Warwick needs to press R Malzahar needs to press R you know how hard it is to press R!? It takes so much practice!

All i can say is you know this is from a low elo players point of view.

Yeah I know, I tried to mention that and everybody is immediately mad. I'm not good lol. I have definitely improved from when I started though.

Master Yi: Disagree. With no legitimate way of dealing with hard CC, he is forced to use his Meditation the way Fizz uses his Trickster, but with WAY less reliability. The cooldown on that meditate is very high and it can be interrupted. He's only a no skill champ when the enemy team has no tools to deal with him (which can be said about EVERY champion in the game.)

Tryndamere/Kayle: Disagree. Like Yi, these two have very few options against CC. Knowing when to use your ult to escape or keep fighting is a tough call.

Garen/Warwick: Agreed. they are learning champions. There's nothing flashy or deceptive about them. Very straightforward and to the point.

Annie: Agreed. Again, learning champion. However, I'd say she's more of an intermediate learning champion. Unlike Garen and Warwick, you can't just rush your enemy and make things happen. You have to know when to save your abilities and when to spend them.

Leblanc: Disagree. She's as squishy as she is deadly and her wave clear is very risky. She might do well in a 1v1 situation, but has a much harder time dealing with 1v2 or 2v3 situations where her chances of getting locked down and blown up without having much impact is extremely high.

Nidalee/Blitzcrank: Disagree. When failing to land a skill shot hinders your ability to be effective, you can't say "no skill" unless who you're using skill shots against has no skill in dodging.

Sona/Miss Fortune/Fiddlesticks: Agreed. Nothing to these ones. Staying alive when you're that easily blown up, now THAT takes skill.

Vayne/Jinx: Disagree. Overpowered doesn't mean "no skill." These ones are overpowered because the people who play them best have skill. There are so many different mechanics to learn on these champs.

Nasus: Agreed. Though I refer to it as Never-gank Nasus. The easiest, cheesiest strategy in LoL. I don't know what you're talking about in "land a few ganks." 90% the time, they'll be thwarted by the walk-away-before-Nasus-Withers-you technique. Like you said, though. Easy to counter.

What he said.

"Say goodbye to your whole team when she's fed." Um... Duh? That's what happens on pretty much every adc if they're that far ahead.

Also funny you didn't mention Heimerdinger on this list, simply because if you think Yi is no skill then a donger setting up a turret choke point and baiting you into your own demise... well... It seems you've more to learn/experience in league. The best way to learn a champions weaknesses is to play as them yourself and learn them from that side of things. I used to think some of these champs were op/no skill too, because I had never actually taken the time to learn to play them at a decent level. summoner 13 is the worst summoner spell in my opinion. Not bad, but not useful. Okay maybe clairvoyance is worse, but still.

TurkeyRage1 votes

Yeah, I have not been playing very long so I don't have much of an argument, and I'm not saying the champion herself I was specifically talking about her ult.

TurkeyRage1 votes

I can agree with most of the points you made, except Yi. Like I said I'm not very good, and I don't usually play with a full team. It takes coordination to shut down Yi. When you don't have a team, and not much cc he is very op in my opinion. When you first start or when you're trying to help somebody get started Yi just wrecks.

Nerf Yi... Bronze confirmed.

Meet me in the wildy, old school Runescape. Then we'll see who's bronze.

No skill champs I see, so?

EDIT: also sad to inform you, Yi was only OP when AP Yi and FF was still a thing, other than that, he is perfectly balanced. I didn't read the rest of the post, but I guess I won't agree with any of it either.

Probably not

I love that a level 27 is telling people what is no skill.

Also the majority of his play in in ARAMs.

sigh

TurkeyRage1 votes

Told you... my opinion and it's not like I said I'm great at the game, and I usually play ARAM when I'm by myself after work.

Angry Monster1 votes

here just for you

http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Balance_fallacy

I saying that your thoughts have no merit. They lack merit cause you been playing 6 months tops and you play aram. You do not have the experience to even think you know anything. You have been playing against other new players. Your opinion is worth as much as dirt.

TurkeyRage1 votes

Your opinion means nothing until you can pass a simple grammar class... U no wat I sayin cause u dont no wut majority meens

I mean, this whole list is basically wrong.

Top laner: first two only work if you get super fed and the team has 0 cc, garen is just tanky. Mid lane: annie can be out ranged, lb can be outtanked, and nid is just a spear. botlane: every one of those champs require skill since everyone wants to kill them. Support, non of those are op... kay has no real cc and is super weak early game, sona is not played that much, blitz is only a hook Jungle: WW is usless after his nerf, fiddlestick gets cc and he is done for in any duel and esp while he is channeling, nasus is to easy to counter jungle and makes him usless

those are the least op champs really

TurkeyRage1 votes

Never said they couldn't be outplayed, I'm just saying they either take very little skill to play or they get op very fast.

Myrddin1 votes

Vayne... seriously

TurkeyRage1 votes

Yes

{quoted} He does take skill to play against experienced players, but when you first start playing or make a smurf it's pretty unfair to play against him.

when you make a SMURF its unfair to play against him... are you a moron? your bringing yourself in an unfair advantage by smurfing and then complain about master yi? are you bronze 9?

also, neither vayne nor yi are overpowered by ANY means. theyre incredibly easy to play against and can be made ineffective quickly. generally your list looks like you have no clue about the game. you listed a bunch of champs doing well lategame because you cant punish them for their weak early i guess.

TurkeyRage1 votes

Got it backwards, I meant when somebody is smurfing and using Yi. Long post, bound to be errors.

Karen Kujo1 votes

support Kayle lmao

TurkeyRage1 votes

It must just be me then because I thought she was top lane, but I have seen her at support a lot.

The only champion in this game that I believe is easy to play is Nasus. A monkey could play Nasus.

What does easy to play mean? Easy to play does not equal wins, easy to play does not equal easy to carry as. Easy to play means an otherwise skilled player that plays Nasus for the first time would have no trouble picking him up, whereas a champion like Master Yi is hard to master. I would be surprised if someone carried a game as Master Yi in high elo first time ever playing him. Nasus? Not so much.

Master Yi does a ton of damage, but is countered by CC. If you master the use of his Q though, you can actually dodge turrets and projectiles. Sure, any player can hit e and r, q into someones face and kill them. But not everyone can turret dive someone, get the kill, all the while completely evading turret shots as Master Yi through masterful use of his Q.

TurkeyRage1 votes

I understand that but, when you are solo, and you're team doesn't ping or communicate he's nearly impossible to shut down. Especially when you haven't been playing very long. Like I said, against experienced players he takes skill to play.

Zorae421 votes

Lol, if you tried to just spam heal on Sona you'd be OoM so fast, and accomplished very little. Plus with your only hard CC being your ult, both you and your adc have to know what they're doing to not die.

Sukishoo1 votes

Every champion and every one that you named, requires different levels of skill.

Vayne for example has a skill level of 8 meaning you HAVE to have a high skill inorder to get her full potential out.

this is bait this has to be bait

LaDominator1 votes

I dont agree with a lot on this list. No adc is easy and with leblanc it just sounds like champs u hate playing against, not easy. But ye, there are those champs that are easy to play but hard to really master like Vayne also, since when is yi more top lane then jg*[sg-lux-2]*
