Is this a good Jax build...

I start with Doran's blade vs normal lane. Doran's Shield vs aa heavy. Flask vs early game dominance Cloth vs AD Poke, (Zed, Jayce, etc)

My build is this :

If I need sustain ill get a vamp scepter and get a sheen then upgrade into bilgewater/phage. if im vs tanky i go botrk and triforce if not hextech and triforce. after that i would have boots, omen/bv and then bork if im ahead or ill go tank item. but bork is my last item cause everyone would be tanky by now and I could burst them faster.

Don't buy hextech unless you're akali.

Why?

I agree it's a core item on Akali, however Hextech's spellvamp proc's when you W+Q on Jax, it also has long range slow, which can be used as poke if you hit minions and then Hextech again.

Mainly because of the cost, it isn't very effecient. He scales way better with attack speed than just damage.

So should i go with the classic botrk tritank??? because it lacked sustain when i played it like his w only lifestealed and with gunblade he'd spellvamp And lifesteal

I build BoTRK before Gunblade. BoTRK's passive and attack speed is just too good not to run on Jax. It's more important than Gunblade. BoTRK's sustain isn't as good, but it does more as an item than Gunblade does. Especially the passive. That plus Jax's attack speed shreds squishies and tanks alike. Gunblade is good at not getting you killed. BoTRK is better at killing. By your second item, you should be killing people as Jax. Almost always I run vamp, then build triforce, then botrk, then randiuns, then gunblade, then finish boots, then get spirit visage or banshee's. That's just how I play Jax, and your build works fine too, I just think mine works a little better. That's my $.02 as a Jax player.

Thanks for the feedback, I main jax and want to get better at him!! so ill try that. i used to build botrk triforce blindly so i wanted to change that, ty for info

you can literally build anything on jax. he scales about the same with everything.
