Dear Riot (A Pirates letter before ITLAPD)

Dear Riot, I 'ave been playin' league fer a long time now. I be nah sure how long though. Me in-game name be Midniteoftherose. 'n jus' recently ye 'ave DOUBLE-NERFED a champion I've come t' love 'n enjoy, even more-so than me original champ ye re-worked 'n scuttled (fer me): Tristana. Gangplank be a character that speaks really close t' me. When I got th' IP up t' get 'im, I wanted t' really play 'im (afore th' re-work). Now I can nah say I be a die-hard cos-player, or any pro player....but I 'ave enjoyed yer game fer a long time, supportin' ye 'n gettin' more scallywags t' enjoy this game wit' me ('n its been more than a pleasure doin' so). Th' last patch 5.17 ye released a patch that made more than enough sense fer me as an avid gangplank player. I really thought ye scallywags did well wit' th' nerf, shavin' a wee armor pen 'n forcin' a global cd wit' his barrels was a great idea! But this last patch (5.18) has nerfed 'im into th' ground...I play gangplank as a reward fer risk 'n a speed trappin' pirate. This last patch destroyed his "barrel/risk, barrel/reward" effect that made me enjoy his piratey antics. but that loss in damage from th' barrels (especially early game), turned 'im into any other trinity champion wit' maybe a wee range. This literally makes 'im a champion that offers no threat when ye drop a barrel in someones face. That completely demolishes wha' ye scallywags said ye wanted t' do wit' 'im in th' first galleon. It really saddens me t' say I can no longer play 'im, as I really enjoyed 'im (i even 'ave an alestorm/ celtic/piratey playlist that I listen t' playin' 'im or MF). I hope that ye will hear me humble plea t' re-buff 'im, as th' change was nah necessary. says I this 'cause, th' cooldown on barrels DOES screw 'im if his risk (timin' barrels doesnt pay off correctly or th' enemies steppin' aside th' barrels). I also completely understand if ye do nah see fit t' do so, 'n although I may be sad, I shall humbly accept th' loss o' another main.

                         Sincerely Ye Friendly Pirate,
                                  Paul Glenn
                                         Midnite Of The Rose
