Is there not some way you add players in once the match has started? Give them the gold the previous player had, plus the gold they spent on items., same level etc.

No. This would increase the amount of enjoyment you get from a game. That could result in people being in a better mood after the game and therefore willing to spend more money on RP over time. Bad idea.

dude try pbe... i played 3 games, had one 5v5, one 4v5, and one- im serious - 3v4. it sucked but was hillarious how many people dcd.
